300+ owners run their booking site on Cottage Booking
Cottage Booking isn't a marketplace, and we don't list your cottage next to anyone else's. You get your own website on your own address, set up so search engines can find it, and a link you can send to every guest you can already reach.
The family who came last summer. They text you, they email, they ask if the last week of July is free. Send them a link instead — they book themselves, at your price, and the money lands in your account.
Keep Airbnb and Booking.com for the guests who haven't found you yet. When one comes back for a second stay, send them to your own site. Two-way calendar sync keeps both sides from double-booking.
The friend of a past guest. The neighbour who asks for the link. The local tourist office. One clean address you can hand to anyone: yourcottage.com.
Your site has its own address, page titles and structured data, so Google can index it and people searching for your area can land on it. Add your Facebook page, Instagram and email signature, and every one of them points at something that takes a booking and a payment.
If you already have guests coming back, this pays for itself the first time one of them books direct. If you're just starting out, keep your listings running alongside it and move guests over as they return.

The questions worth answering honestly.
Not the way a listing site does. We don't run a marketplace and we don't advertise your cottage. What you get is your own website, with its own address, sitemap and structured data, so Google can index it and people searching for your area or your cottage's name can find it. That traffic builds over months. The fastest bookings come from guests who already know you, so send them the link first, and keep Airbnb or Booking.com running for reaching new people.
Because the guests you already have are the expensive ones to lose. A returning guest booked through a listing site can still cost you 14–15% in fees, even when the platform did nothing to bring them back. Standard and Pro charge 0% Cottage Booking commission; Stripe processing fees still apply.
No, and most owners shouldn't. Keep them for reaching people who've never heard of you. Connect your calendars both ways so nothing double-books, and move repeat guests over to your own site one at a time.
You can. Your own site starts building search visibility from day one, but the big platforms are still the quickest way to reach people who've never heard of you. Run both, and move guests to your own site as they come back.
Send them the link. Most owners email their past guests once before the season opens with their new booking address, put it in their email signature, and add it to their social profiles. After that, guests who used to email you 'is week 30 free?' just book it themselves.
It's yours. Names, emails, phone numbers, booking history — stored in your account, exportable, not shared with anyone. That's the whole difference between a guest relationship and a platform's customer.
